Hi guys
As promised, I've been looking into organising a presentation outside working days. With the release getting closer, I'm sure you'll get a chance to have a go at playing Alone in the Dark rather than just watching a demo ;)
How does Saturday 31st of May sound to you? I'll need to have an idea of how many people are interested, so, if you are, could you please wave your little hand? :salut2:

can you put me down as a possible? ... the problem is it's literally just after my birthday (so might be out celebrating as it's mid week) and I'm also not too sure when the local Beer Fest is on so I might be doing more important things
would love to come along tho as the videos I've seen of the game look amazing

I said it before but I wouldnt mind going again and trying the game myself if lots of people can go.

So was a sunday not a possiblity? :( cos I might not be able to get the time off work :(

I can definetly try and ask some friends that have very fond memories from the Dreamcast Alone in the Dark game to come and try the new one if it is allowed. ;)

what time would be needing to get there; living in wales gotta think about transport.

given the response I'm afraid we won't go ahead with this but I've got good news and I'm here with a couple of alternatives ;)
Friday 23rd May, London (venue to be confirmed), presentation with Nour Polloni and hands on (I'll confirm details)
Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th we'll be at the MCM show (MCM (http://www.londonexpo.com/)) at the London Excel exhibition centre and we are taking Alone for peeps to play. I also have a couple of pairs of tickets to give away :)
A full weekend of Alone goodness ahead ;)
I should be able to get back to you with all info before the end of this week :)

But I know we were planning to go to the expo on the saturday, what do we have to do if we wanted to maybe get a ticket for going? ^__^

I would love to have a go too and even more now as my xbox 360 went and got faulty so wouldnt even be able to play a demo at home.
Will keep my eyes open for details on this upcoming presentation somewhere or try to buy a ticket to that expo even if only to go and see the game.Is the expo in Earl's Court as that is actualy a lot near your Hammersmith offices and even more closer to my old college. ;)

Also Diogo it's at the excel centre, not too sure on where it is exactly in london, but it's been going on for a few years there now :).
The presentation sounds good, I'd love to go to it, which is more do-able as it's a friday :)

I was gonna but I really wanna meet the battlestar galactica guests, so I decided I won't be going as anyone. They have a "games village" at expo which features new games, or games that aren't out yet.

The Excel is in the Docklands - not the most charming location in London but the centre is good. We'll have a nice big stand just opposite Manga with lots of pods for you to have fun with :)
I won't personally be there on Saturday (husband's b'day, he needs some attention too :)) but I'll be there all day on Sunday if you want to come and say hi and have a chat.
Cat, you're more than welcome :) Tickets will be at reception but we'll talk privately to make sure you have all details. I'll email you at the address you registered with if it's ok with you.
So, I've got some more pairs of tickets to give away, not enough for everybody unfortunately so you'll need to give me a good reason for me to pick you. No bribes accepted tonguegre

I just noticed the offer of tickets and so I got to lay down my case as to why I need one! As a future defense lawyer if I got one of these tickets that means that I would have more money to spend on my lawyer attire. ;)
Also I would make a fantastic sales person near the stand given all that knowledge of the game I now have that you guys showed at that other event! If anyone dared to be dissapointed with the game I would be on hand to shout that "Objection".
On another topic anyone know where one could find custom made red waistcoats...

Would it be possible to have 2 tickets for the weekend event?
Have been a huge huge fan of AITD, as well as test drive, and so is my buddy.
I would love to get a sneak peak and rate it for my site (it will not be gettin anything less than 8/10 from what I have seen so far, it looks to be my most wanted, even above GTA4!) but if not I would love to have the chance to meet you guys and play the game anyway.
I thought it was great when I met some guys from Ubisoft (not saying they are better or worse) because we could ask some really interesting questions.
It would be really appreciated as I am drooling, yes thats right, drooling at the prospect of having a good old whack at this game!
Please be a wonderful human being and authorize this.

I pretty much managed to get a costume so if you want me in I would really love to have a ticket to get a chance to play the game and so all of you going can see me in action. It would also help a lot since I blew most of my budget on this costume. :)

MFGZ_Sibboz, wouldn't you be more interested in the Friday presentation? Nour Polloni, the producer, will be there and you'd get a chance to ask all the questions you want :)
