i'm lucky (??) enough to be up and on tdu at 5am most mornings so i catch alot of american gamers nearing their bedtime. at this time of morning i'm not always up to drifting on hc mode or driving extremely fast along the highways so i go to the waikiki strip and listen out for gems.
now i'm not singling u.s. citizens out because other countries can be just as ludicrous but i've been saving a few great quotes over the past few months and here's some of the things heard from that amazing breed that drags up and down that road again and again and again:

"the LM is the fastest car here" from an ME FOUR TWELVE driver.
"you can glitch the f1 to go faster than an s7"
"tdu2 is going to be set on the whole planet"
"i'm an ace so it makes me way cooler than anyone else"

This happened about 2 weeks ago and just reading these posts made me remember it.

Myself and someone else - can't remember who - were in LM's, it was about 2AM and we parked at the lighthouse at the North West after just driving about when a young voice comes over going;

"Hey guys what cars you in?"
"McLaren F1 LM's"
"Yeah right, that cars not in this game"
* he drives up to us *
"See we told you so"
"No way........... how did you guys get that black banner on the window?"

just pointing out that if you were claiming the reward cars weren't free (which is how most reading your post would percieve it to read) it was incorrect.

Not debating the fictional nature of the tuning, but in the case of the GTR, I would think the first thing one would do when tuning it for higher performance would be to indeed dispose of all the restrictors to match the LM's performance, wouldn't it?

Was doing a few laps of the track with a couple of my mates last night talking about the cars we own (real cars).
All of a sudden some bloke not to sure where he was from insisted that his rover 25 was better than my e46 3 series and my mates skyline gtr33. At first we thought he was joking but after a pointless conversation it turned out he was deadly serious.
Normally its very rare i fall off the track but with such a claim it is very hard to race and laugh to the point where you think you will wet yourself.

That quote kind of just says it is. The LM keeps all the GTR's racing structure, yet produces more power, and a higher top speed. It really is better than the GTR in terms of specifications and performance.
