Is your login broken

Being as Myself, Nipperredcoat and the-new-craigie (Crazed_Dodgem (http://forums.eu.atari.com/member.php?u=62120), N1PPER (http://forums.eu.atari.com/member.php?u=270246) and Cragie (http://forums.eu.atari.com/member.php?u=973705) Respectively) Have lost our former accounts for the time being, i thought i would make a poll so we can tell who has problems...

All of These have reverted to names that have been changed from their original state, I was Lwsbrck up until last year, nipper was nipperredcoat donkeys years ago, and cragie changed his very recently, but this is only because his old account, craigie22 (with 4,000+ posts) got deleted.

What has happened is basically that the records on the database have changed to the details for atari community (where i'm still lwsbrck) and has put me with the related email address, when i try to log in with crazed_dodgem, i'm told the account is non-existant, despite still having a profile, as you can see above) There is also no user associated with the hotmail address associated with C_D, although i know there is no mistake as i still have notifications from replies to old threads in said inbox.

Ive put alot of time into my old account and it has many good memories in it, i'd hate for it to be lost :(

i'm sure NIPPER feels the same.

The login *should* be the same as your atari community login, as it's now exactly the same account.

If you can't login with your atari community account then there is a problem somewhere.

This new login system is completely useless. I 'upgraded' my account. But now every time I login with the email address, I get taken to an account management screen, not my User CP - some other waste of time. Doesn't take me back the thread I was on - so I have to manually put the URL back in for the old page.

wow! its finally letting me post

for the past week or so since i upgraded my account, it has not allowed me to post on this forum. However this morning, i recieved an activation email and all seems ok now.

Cheers lewis for raising my problem, is there going to be a way to change our usernames back to the old ones in the near future or are we stuck with these?

Same issue as you Dodges, postcount to 0, old username etc...

If it is indeed the 'same' account (as Kal suggests) shouldn't we still have our postcount and signature etc.?:rolleyes:

Needs fixing, but there are worse problems than this at the moment, like having to log in about 3 times for 1 post...

If it can be resolved though, that would be much appreciated :)
