24 hour preload

anyone able to preload yet???
i tried the atari downloader and it says unable to load list.
i thought we could download it 24 hours before midnight tonight and preload it then activate it at midnight . seems to me it is way past 24 hours before launch and i still have no game. i did preorder ????

i emailed support for hours man and posted on the forum
and you guys arent replying. i know it may take sometime but if it takes
too long i am just going to cancel. please help with this issue??!?

For me it's worst : the link to the download manager didn't work!
Can u upload me the download manager installer, please?
I have no response from atari support.

This morning the size of the game was 2,8Go. Now it is 7,8Go.
I think the game wasn't uploaded on their site.

the link is i think is for me only and i am only allowed to use it a certain number of times..
if you go to your account or store on this site you can choose the option to resend the info to your email and then the dlm.exe should download!!

it says choose folder to save files to. then says click here to start downloading. then says unable to load lists. i guess atari lied and you cant preload 24 hours early or even 12 hours for that matter.
if i cant preload by like 1900 , then i will cancel the preorder!!
but that also brings up another point. i will be mad if we dont even get our activation key at midnight. sorry dude i dont think that i am supposed to give my download link to you. but like i said it is worth less!!

hopefully atari will at least allow a 4 hour preload , cause if they dont this is total false advertising. and hey i am not even trolling here , i am just saying meet your end of the deal and where is my gdmn preload!

I agree with you, if i can't play the game when i have the key, i'll be really annoyed.

well i am at work and that is pretty much impossible right now.
military wont let me access hotmail cause of viruses and stuff!

i thought the dlm.exe was specific for each individual??
plus like i said it does not download anything.

Same for me... sour: I dont have a clue where am I supposed to get the damn download manager... Yes, they sent me an e-mail with "Click on the link below and save our downloader (download software) to your hard drive." notification, but there isnt any link below. Support team is obviously playing it now, cause they dont respond.

Btw, goth73, may I ask where are you from? I hear that there used to be problems when ordering from certain countries, like Czech republic in my case. But it is weird for sure, since my payment has been confirmed and the game pre-ordered. Now I can't even cancel the order to try it once more, because the appropriate link is inactive. Jeez, what is that suppose to mean? :hin: sour: If people from Atari don't want my money, there's nothing easier than telling me instead of ignoring me. I'm sure there will be good release available soon :) :atari:

that 24 hour preorder is just a stupid rumor, every website says 24 preload , but i checked on the atari page and i did not see anything that says 24 hour official preload. so dont get mad yet!!!

Thought I was just being dumb when the download button did not work and the email just said thanks for the pre-order......ok where's the link to download :mefiant:

Should of learn my lesson when I pre-ordered Bioshock from steam.......the activation servers failed then when that was sorted and you could play the game the sound didn't work after the plane crashed in the beginning of the game... lightbulb.

That would be great, thanks for the information...:) And yes, at first I thought it must be some kind of stupid joke too, but then I found the same information here posted by admin (http://forums.eu.atari.com/showthread.php?t=83623). Nevertheless, I'll be completely satisfied if I run download by midnight and play the game in the morning. And sorry for being a bit rude. Just can't live without that game any more :bravo: mdr1

I have a 20mb line and I'm downloading at 300kb/s if I'm lucky, what happened to 8mb = 2hrs? My line can easily do 2MB/s. Oh well 6hrs 30mins to go.
