I have a setup where I use headphones to play all my Xbox 360 games, I own a lot of games and the audio has never been a problem, but alone in the dark is rearly low so low it makes the game boring to actually to play this ruins the enjoyment of the game and as you know audio is very important. I have made sure the volume settings in the game is set to max and this is the case by default.

these are not the in ear type headphones, there the padded rounded type that are becoming more popular with gamers.

I hope Atari releases a patch I have been told this is a problem with tvs as well as 5.1 surround sound setups.

I could buy a Headphone Amplifier but its a lot of money for something that just needs a patch. I know it would take at least one week for it to be certified and a little while for this to be worked and tested on but by then I would have lost interest.

Does your TV have an auto-volume option as well as maybe an internal mute? Check your sound menu options as I know if I have auto-volume on with headphones then the volume is fairly low.

I don't use a TV to play games, I use a TFT Computer monitor and the VGA cable for the Xbox 360. as I said before this is a problem I don't experience with over games. on another forum people have had similar problems and there not even using headphones.
I have now purchased a headphone amp to increase the volume! I hope it makes a big difference, but this is a shame that they have not spent time testing this game out enough.
