Problem with AITD and Vista

Hello guys,
i'm italian and i have posted this message for a strange problem that i got yesterday (Friday 19 June).
I bought a copy of Alone in the dark and after finishing installation ( with successfull registration of the game via internet) the game wasn't start.

So i tryed to rebot Pc, tryed to re-installing the game and i have upgrading video card driver but the problem still not resolve.

My PC configuration is :

Intel Core 2 E6600
Asus A5PN-deluxe
Geforce 8800GTX (with last driver)
2 GB DDR2
Windows Vista Ultimate

Some trick to know what happen and some1 tell me how to solve this problem??

Works well on my machine, takes awhile to start up though
my specs:
E6400 OC'd 2927MHz
ASUS Maximus Formula SE
4Gb RAM
8600GTS
Vista ultimate X64

it could be the copy protection or the cd check (on some drives and games takes awhile), other than that try removing any virtual drives, if u have any.

IF not try this site, could be that vista is constantly defragging / search Indexing how-to-speed-up-vista (http://www.cucirca.com/2007/05/03/how-to-speed-up-vista/)

I' ll try the operations that you mentioned to me (i registered the game yesterday and maybe this is another problem because the release is 20th june)... and Yea i have a virtual drive mounted with Daemon tools so this evenings i'll try to unplugged the virtual drive and re-try to install it.

I'll let you know if this is enough for working the game

I also got mine yesterday, huurraay for Game :D, so its not the early activation thing thats the problem

Good luck, its worth the hassle i tell you :D, well for me any way :D
