PC version Cannot see my 360 controller?!

Hi there, I can't seem to get my 360 controller to work with this game. Control options only shows controls for keyboard.. can't even navigate menu's with the controller.

Other games run completely fine with the controller.. have installed game on both vista x64 and xp, and have the same problem. Have the latest drivers for the 360 controller installed.

Can't find any config files that I can edit.. so not sure what to do?? Anyone have any ideas..

Right what u need to do is go to the controller options. then you need to change one key option, then press any button on the 360, now dont worry cause it will ask you if you want to use the controller and it will assign the functions automatically
thats what i had to do, so as the example above: you go to move forward change the binding by clicking on it and press button A ( after that is done Button A will / should not be move forward, it will / should be the action and other functions)
