Wheel not working on new vista PC

I recently bought myself a shiney new quad core PC with all the bells and whistles running Vista 64. I got TDU installed and patched, transferred my save game and calibrated my wheel ok.

Only problem is when I'm in TDU, my wheel doesn't do anything. Testing it outside of the game shows it is working fine, and it still works ok on my older system running XP. I just can't figure this one out :hin:

Dunno if this helps I just also got a new QC, wiped my HDD's and reinstalled Windows, then TDU, then copied back my save game. Everything worked fine but I had to reset every button. In the config they were all defined correctly but they still needed me to go through them all again one by one.

I recently changed to a different version of my controller, and although it appears as the same name in settings, as colster says, I had to reset every key to get it to work. That's probably the problem.
