TDU Online Patch 1.66A (Any Help Much Appreciated)

Hi all
I have downloaded the latest TDU patch 1.66A, only to find that it will not recignise it. I have Windows XP Professional, on a PC that is around four months old, with a legit disk of TDU. Any suggestions much appreciated.:)

This is probably due to patching while the game is still running -you will probably need to reinstall TDU and patch properly. Keep hold of your patch and follow the uninstall/patch instructions in the stickied thread at the top of the forums or follow the post in the FAQ sticky.

Is there anyway I can back up my saved games, because I have got really far in my offline career mode.

Yep, as it mentions in the sticky you can keep the My Documents Test Drive Unlimited folder as it is and your profile will remain.
