Ok, so i got this game, it looks good, i do have a problem with the characters not saying any lines from time to time, but this only happens once in a while,
So the Camera!!!
can this just simply be stuck to that back of his head, the way it should have been in the first place? (the way EVERY 3rd person game for PC in the history of 3rd person PC games, well the good ones anyway!!?)
if the camera is put in this position then all of the problems will be solved and you guys will have a decent PC game on your hands, instead, what should be a case of strolling accross an open floor turns into a 15 minute chore, it takes the main character what feels like 10 mins to turn around and im sure im not the only one who has had tons of fun trying to get lined up for a jump, i turned it off soon into the game, on the side of the building,
Now the game is clearly capable of this, its just a csae of ditching the "cinematics" (big LOL, dont even think kids find that "cinematic" nowadays) and lock the camera a bit above the characters head and allow the mouse to turn him, surely that cant be that hard!
This would make this game very fun to play, however as of right now, its a pain in the a** of a game, you cant even stay in first person, because the game is more concered about showing off its fancy camera angles than being "playable".
with a bit of luck some modder will pick this up and sort it for us, unfortunatley i have some atari games, so i know the way things are dealt with (i have Test drive unlimited, can you say 5.1?!!?) but atleast its out there, seems simple enough, so lets hope it gets fixed.
Cheers,
Tam
