Currupt Game Save..

Hi All, I was playing TDU when suddenly the PC switched off, when i turned the PC back on the game profile was shown but had "new game" underneath, the continue game was hidden and could not be selected, i have tried making a new profile and then copying my profile back into the folder but still no luck, can anyone help ?

If you've made backups of your TDU profile (My Documents\Test Drive Unlimited\savegame\yourtduprofilename) then just replace it - otherwise you'll have to start again - sorry

nooo.. it took me ages aswell lol.. only just got to champion lol

Yeah - just about all of us have lost progress in this game - it's such a pain. Fortunately I've done most challenges and have backups since then so I should be right.

Just focus on getting to Champ status as fast as possible - that's when the races pay a lot more $ and you progress a lot faster.

can i still keep my profile name, has many friends on it aswell, better get starting with my CHAMPOIN level then lol

Yes you can - just load TDU and click New Game - your friends list will be preserved
