Lost the Megapack

Hi All.

Just had to re-format the PC HDD and like a prat I forgot to save the Megapack download patch. I remembered to copy the savegame file though!

How do I re-download it? I read in the sticky it can be done a few times.

Sorry if this has been asked loads of times but I searched and couldn't find an answer.

There should be a link in your email that you got when you bought the megapack.

It doesn't matter which installer you use, aslong as you have your legal key to it.

Well !
I've re-installed about 6 times now but I can't get online.

Last time I re-installed the game I simply copied my savegame folder back into the game file and it worked, this time when I do this it won't go online.
I have to do the 1.66 upgrade each time and have followed the tutorial closing down and re-booting between each stage but it still won't work.

I couldn't find the orginal email for the megapack but found a copy of it on my system backup drive which I created a while back, works with my DVD activation key, is that right? it seems to work.

Is there a particular order I should add the patch, savegame file and megapack files which will sort this out?

I'm begining to think I'll have to start from scratch again, change my profile and lose all my friends, and H-mode!

Uhm you need gamekey and mpackkey (at least i did with my store bought game).

My game key works with my genuine downloaded megapack, just can't play the damn thing as I can't get a connection.

Ok, well you need your GAME KEY in your game. And you need your MEGAPACK KEY in your megapack. You have it like that right?

Also, does it say no connection straight away? If so, try deleting your radial.cdb file using this: http://forums.eu.atari.com/showthread.php?t=69223

Got the game sorted and online, but I can't find the email for the megapack download. I bought it direct from the Atari site, is there any way to retreive the key somehow?

Reason 253 to use Gmail - you have the power of Google Search to find all your old emails that you don't have to delete since you have nearly 8gb of space.

I did a search for mine - and thought the following might remotely help you:

To prevent fraud you may download your game 6 times. If you need more downloads of your game, please request them from our support team ( serviceclient@gamesplanet.com ) with your order number and the email address used for the purchase. Note that you can save the downloaded files, even burn them to a CD or DVD.

Well I use yahoo mail which is the same, I never deliberately delete anything other than spam but I can't find the megapack email. I'll just DL it again, it's only a tenner anyway, which is pennies compared to the entertainment value in hours I get from the game:atari:

Yeah - I've bought the pack for some of my friends b/c they're too young to get it so that we can keep cruising - was reasonably priced.

I sure hope MC4 comes to PC as that seems to be TDU 1.5, then hopefully Atari bring TDU2 no later than the end of 2009

Aah thx, bit better graphics.. but it looks like it's aimed more on fun (that's good, but not really TDU).
"wide steroid roads", Power-ups, small world, no Mmo..
TDU replacement shouldn't contain anything unreal Unless it's separated worlds within the game (I like fun too :P).
