Delay could be Real?

With a few retail websites and now Atari's regional sites changing to a February release date it appears the rumour mill could be true. Atari UK looks to have had a slight update visually and also content wise and Race Pro is now listed for a February release.

A bit of a donkey move if true as the newest trailer does still state January 2009 but then the release was closer to February than it was to the beginning of January, so me personally, I can forgive them. :)

I must say that I'd rather get the demo before x-mas, instead of getting the game in january :nuts:
My speculation on why its delayed has to be something about Microsoft's test and it not passing them, therefore they have to redo some part of it.

Just had a look on gamespot (http://uk.gamespot.com/xbox360/driving/racepro/similar.html?mode=versions)'s site, and the date listing is 17th Feb US, 19th Feb Aussies, January in Europe. I feel that February it is going to be.

Looking like 12th Feb guys, both autogaming.net and virtualR.net report the same date, though that would hint to me the US ship date will be 11th Feb, and the UK release date will be FRIDAY THE THIRTEENTH February.

Nik, majority of the big car clubs are really looking forward to this so some of the guys from VVV, TRC, F4H, GLR & AMG are gonna be helping make some series at IFCA, you should bring some V12 speeeeeeed over ;)

I had a chat to Doctor the other night in a V12 party and he thinks because his team doesnt know much english speak, he wouldnt feel comfortable. This isnt the case, so they are all welcome ;)

I 100% agree with ya Bringer.... it would be the worst thing ever if they put the game out and "boom" we had to wait for a big patch to fix major problems!

If we wait they will build it perfect... I would wait even longer if they needed to make just a bit better than they ever thought possible....

could you imagine, it came out nice and early and then all we get is a "disc error!"... or whatever.... :nono:

I think the reason we are all desperate for this game so much is because it's the first of it's kind on a console,or for the 360 anyway.I was just in the city centre trying to find a good bargain for the Ms wheel but i might aswell wait till the release of Race pro as i have nothing worth using the wheel for just yet.

Race Pro is pretty much GTR, Race 07 and GTR Evo all together.
