With Race Pro's grahics taking a really realistic approach, the racetracks and cars look a lot darker and less colourful than that of Forza's.
I have taken some Race Pro screenshots and Saturized them slightly on photoshop, to make them more colourful.
So, question for you, have Simbin created the right feel with their original and realistic graphics? Or was more colour needed?

IMO real life is kinda dull anyway, colourwise of course so the more saturated it looks the less realistic. If they give an option for saturation then that could be good though as of course some places look dull and grey and others look bright and colourful.
Of the ones you posted simbins definitely look more realistic.

Yes the actual Race pro shots look a lot more suited to it than those bright shots, they look like something you would see on grid or ridge racer.

Whoa man, the originals look way better. Check out the 4th one. The saturated one looks like a six flags theme park. :bravo:

Yeah lol that 4th one looks a lil overboard :D
The saturated ones dont look that bad except for the last one.

If you think the pictures on left are dark and the colours in the pictures you created look ok on your monitor then it looks to me like your monitor must be on its way out, perhaps the back light is going?

No, the pictures on the right have been highlighted like the colours you see on Forza. Forza has a very colourful scheme, so thats the purpose of the comparison

I've been playing Race 07, and it does look a lot more realistic than Forza (that and the sim aspect). 360 controller and no assists on PC is hard as...

Not that hard...car just feels a lot heavier and less responsive. My PC was not the best, so graphics were'nt all that good as I wanted smooth gameplay

I've got an Nvidea GeForce 6150SE onboard set, uses some system RAM. Settings down LLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW. My big problem is the non-independent Z-axis. I want to be able to accelerate and brake at the same time! I just hope that most of the settings are carried over into Race Pro.....
Qualifying sessions for example. (multiplayer)

Left foot braking? Haha
Left foot braking? Haha
I don't drive IRL, so left foot braking is actually more natural for me than a clutch.

Let the diff do the work ;)
*Ooh, 100th post :D*

Left foot braking is a technique used by many racing drivers.
I drive in real life and I still use left foot braking playing games.

You can have independent Z-axis on the PC and 360 controller - just use the XBCD drivers rather than Microsoft's own :)

Not with the wireless one, only the wired, works on a different driver set. Thanks though.

It doesnt look like forza, more like lollipop candy land dipped in a paint bucket full of rainbow ;)

he's right, forza is only properly bright when you take photos... this is a standard forza shot on one of the brightest tracks:

The screen more akin to Forza 2 is the 3rd due to the oversaturated rumble strip and green trees. Forza 2 is very cartoony in it's nature, people have said this since Forza Motorsport itself. Not to mention the extreme white the sun produces on almost every colour of car.
Does noone remember that leaked shot of the Sparco Evo that people criticised for it's kind of rubbish graphics, despite this though everyone liked the more realistic approach of the colour palette they were using.

Well, play with the camera settings enough on Forza's Photomode, and it does look like that

i think for some cases more saturated looks better, and in others it doesnt...
