3 things your really looking forward to doing on Race pro release day

Personally these are going to be the 3 thing's that i cant wait to do.

(1)Try a Mini out on Brands Hatch.

(2)Really make an effort to pull off a great lap time using the steering wheel.

(3)Sit back and check out the replay and see if the camera angles are done very well,i really want to see what position it's placed in for that swooping left hand dip at Brands Hatch.

(1) Drive a Mini around Brands ONLINE!

(2) Discover all the options for the online component of Race Pro.

(3) Drive GT cars around Monza

1. Jump in some free practice mode and just get a feel for the cars.

2. Go thruogh all setup settings and have a look at what can be adjusted.

3. Taking a caterham around Brands Hatch until I feel pleased with my time.

1: Take a WTCC Extreme car around Brands Mini and try and keep in on the tarmac

2: Try and beat my PC (33rd on boards) laptime in an F3000 car around Curitiba

3: Get online and see how bad the racing is when you select the Pau track....

A lot depends on what car and track is in the demo...because I expect to have played the game for [hopefully] a couple of weeks or more before the full game appears.

So much of the "see what's it like with the wheel" and so on that others have said I'm expecting to do with the demo.

For the full game, I'll just start career mode...

Yes i too am looking forward very much to the 1 player career mode.What will be good with this career mode is that you will be racing against other actual replica race cars in career unlike Forza where you tune your car up and can only race against stock AI.


Forza only seemed like a racing game in 1 player mode when it came to the last few races in career mode where it featured the GT2 cars etc.Sadly though the game got very boreing way before you would even get to that part.

Another great thing about the career mode on Race pro is that when the game is on hard you wont actually be able to use any assists whats so ever so this in its self will provide a decent enough challenge for the 1 player gamers like myself and many others.

should be good fun, even though the Xbox360 magazine's review says it's poor, but that could be good because it will mean all of the n00bs who can't drive will stay away, and we might be able to have some decent races and be able to go into a random lobby online ;D

please atari... please leave codemasters to ruin all of their multiplayer, let us set our own lobbies up ;D

OXM, the magazine who gave grid a review of 9/10. I would pay little attention to a publication which allows games to be reviewed by the lowest common denominator.
