I would say that they mean somewhere in the week of Jan. 26th to 30th!!!.... too bad they didn't say mid January.. lol... then that would be TODAY!... lol..

Can you download the demo on a silver account as that is all i have now?,no longer have use for the gold account but i have kept a spare emergency 1 month gold account, just incase.

I would assume for the first week, especially as there is an MP part that it will be gold only.

Well i saved the free month redeem code from when i bought Grand Theft Auto 4,so if there is'nt a deadline on when the voucher had to be used by,i guess i will be ok to download the demo.

I may even buy a full year but i dont really need a gold account for that long to be honest.

If you're in the UK and have a zavvi near you, pop in there, and try to pick up a 3 month card. They are usually £15 but they were reduced in there by 50% last time I looked.

Many thanks for the the tip there champ,i will definetly look into that.I heard there was a chap online who sell's the 12 month code's for a very good price,but i dont care how reliable someone is,when it comes to giving out credit or bank details online,i am very careful with who i deal with.

You pay using paypal so there's no way he's getting your CC info.

For LESS than the price of a new game you can get 13 months of gold service in the States. I think that is good value for anyone who plays online.
