Hello there chap's.
Usually when a game is close to release you usually get to see the achievement list for games,i would certainly be interested to see what it is that Race PRO will feature in this section.So should any of you spot it,please post in here if it's ok with the mods.
Things i expect to see in this section from Race PRO :
Clean race.
Won entire event.
Won a race using no driving aids.
Won so many online race's.
Ps...Has anyone been having trouble posting on this site in the last couple of day's?,seem's to take a few tries before it actually accepts anything.
Why not make the thread when the achievement list is actually available? weirdblue
Anyhow, I don't care about achievements so I don't know what I'm doing in this thread in the first place :mefiant:
The wait for the demo is killing me, can't wait for the weekend to end...

those are some i expect.

I actually did this on grid in the touring cars except from 1st place. On Milan the real tight street track I got a real bad start and swerved into 3rd and we basically caused a roadblock. About 8 people got terminal damage straight away and even more on the next lap trying to drive through the reckages lol.
But dont worry, I wont intentionally cause a roadblock on Race Pro

There will probably be an achievement for winning a race in hot seat mode which requires 2 players.

Not really, there's nothing stopping you from doing the driving for both drivers ;)

Very true indeed but you cannot leave thing's out games just because other's abuse what was originally created for a fun purpose.No matter what is intended to be good in a video game,some will always ruin it or simply cheat to get achievements,this does'nt mean they should be left out for the people who would unlock them in the honest way they were intended.

Its not really cheating though is it, its just getting an acheivment made for 2 players using only 1 player. its not like forza where people get people to join a race then leave straight away on 75 laps of nissan speedway just to get the 1mil online credits

When it comes to laptimes, when you are competing against other people to set fast laptimes, if someone has cheated, ywt you are the fastest without cheating, no-one can really tell, as your name doesn't have the no.1 next to it. The cheat does. In terms of competition, it is against the spirit of it, but then that never mattered to the Elan, AWD glitchers, and hotlap pushers in Forza 2.

With the exception of this NH2 guy in the low classes, all times are legit on Forza :)

No, Brako said I don't care if people cheat their laptimes. I was giving an example of where he himself would be annoyed of people were cheating. I think we all remember "Speednation" (the tag, rather than clan/racing team) Don't want to put up the previous tag, as I don't want to get it wrong then be accusing an innocent party of cheating.

i actually want to see the list, it might show us a bit more info about whats in the game, plus im gonna try and get 1000/1000GS because im sad like that :P, and because i no i will play this game a lot and i would wanna complete it.

yeah hellbringer i think someone's been telling you porkies ;D 1million online credits? all endurance races at 1/1.5 hours each? that's 10 different races = 10 hours at least + achievements like buy all of the cars... that's over 26million credits of cars and he can't buy them off the a/h because no-one else has unlocked or if they have they only have 1 so they aren't selling them.
he said fm1, not sure what the career mode on that was but there was obviously no achievments.
I did Forza 2 in about 2 months, bought it in aug 07, completed it in oct/nov 07, still play it now in jan 09 and have currently nearly 12 million online credits in over 405 hours of online racing :)
and i bet this game will take me a while most probably seeing as i have nowhere near as much time for the xbox now as i used too

I remember unlocking all the achievements less the 1million online credits in 24 hours. It was insanity on my part, I was up for 19 hours straight and had the very first Ferrari 333sp in the AH. I sold over 100 of them at 1million each in just under 3 hours. Ahhhhh, the early days. The first one was a tough choice because ...... it was my first. But then quickly come to realize that I could buy one from in-game dealership at anytime ..... that was the deciding factor.

You didnt Aladdin. (first 333sp) Remember the game was out in Japan for a few days before it was out in the States.

Actually it was out in Japan a full two weeks before Europe who had a few days then USA. The Japanese leaned heavily towards the painting aspect (at first) and wasn't so concerned with finishing the game. For the ones that were selling cars, the AH had a major flaw in it and they lost all. The developers apologized to all of them and quickly brushed it under the table. Note when using the AH today it says "NEW AH." The Europeans wanted to finish 100% career, but I don't remember seeing much of anything other than Aston Martins and TVR's in the AH from them. At least for the first few days. Hey, I'm not belittling anyone nor am I trying to offend so please don't take it as such. :)
Eh, the best I remember was selling over 100 cars that were in-game at a million a pop. No paint, just a straight-up car. I had the first, as far as I can tell.
Here's the reason: Nobody else was selling them. :)
Within hours, the amount of 333sp's that were in the AH were many and the million-a-pop didn't quite cut it anymore, so I backed off and let the pieces fall.
Actually i Believe that Forza 2 cameout in Japan on 22nd May, 2007, US was 25th May 2007, and Europe 8th June 2007
Just going to Wiki that for definite.
edit: I was wrong, US was May 29th, I still think Japan was the 22nd, or the 25th.

That sounds about right.
Footnote: The release date was the 29th but it wasn't on the U.S. shelves until the 30th. I was kinda upset about having to wait one extra day. :cry:
