exchanging gamertags seems like a good idea. It would be good to group together and have competative racing without annoying 10 years old trying to 'lay down some skids'.

Personally i dislike the whole gamertag/nicknames thing for serious online racing, but for the consoles ill make an exception and use my old team nick again: TheStig[RPM]
