Hi guys and gals.
My name is DjAladdinUSA. I am 40 years young and loved racing games since the old Atari 400 computer playing "Night Rider" (or was it driver?) Anyway I am looking forward to Race Pro from Atari.
One reason is I would like to see how far the Grandfather of all video games has come since their blockbusting 2600 series.
Another is I got banned like crazy, on different forums and websites, from another game (not mentioning which) by Developers, Moderators as well as gamers with ill-intent.
Why? I'm just that good at everything I do! (40 years counts for something you know.)
I'm buying this game on its U.S.A. release date and looking forwards to racing, tuning and sharing experiences with many of you.

I wouldn't say it's an Atari game, they are just publishing it. Simbin has developed it. :salut2:

With the game coming out in Europe four days before the USA, you're gunna have to be up for about 3 days constantly :laugh:

Yes, the headstart will be a factor for sure in that. But remember, I'm the nutcase that during the Forza wipe had my full hotlap rollup completed before they even finished the wipe.

leahcim35: I explioted cheats in-game that anyone could have done. Using nothing but Xbox and MS products. Specifically a memory card, patch cable and a Datel program that all came in an over-the-counter bundle and branded by MS for Xbox360. It was great. I was likened to a "drug-dealer." Everyone refused to acknowledge what I did but wanted what I had. As soon as the "product" officially became illegal and quantities were scarce, almost all of the very same people that called me "friend" very quickly turned to "foe" because I couldn't (or rather didn't want to) supply their cravings anymore. That's when the wave of adversaries came. I had to learn some OLD lessons all over again. Funny to me how all of my adversaries had no inclination of the sacrifices people made in FM1 to bring them the things they use in FM2. Upon that moment of clarity, I called my adversaries N00BS. LMAO
Before you go into the deep end on me, take a look at the FM1 Overall Driver Rankings. Specifically the 31st spot. I'm not all about cheats. I do enjoy games for what they are.
TRC_GeorgiaDawg: Dude, it's so nice to see you and Factory here, you have no idea. No worries, I'll behave. And yeah, I'll probably be one of (if not the) first to 1000pts, but you'll be in the Top 10 times within hours. Damn your times are hard to beat. :)

Yeah, you were wrong, but I can't see any point in explaining.
If you read your own posts instead and imagined it was somebody else writing them, that might help you nail it...but if it doesn't no matter :)

Well that's it then. I've said my hello's, met a couple of new people, gathered some useful info and connected with quite a few old friends. Thanks Atari (yes Simbin, TY 2).
I'll be replying in other threads and starting new ones from time to time. With no more replies from me, this thread (http://forums.eu.atari.com/showthread.php?t=88366) is to be considered closed. I ain't even lookin' at it anymore.
