Forum logs me out

Hi guys,

Is it possible to make an option on the forum that you can actually stay logged in when you return to the site, instead of have to re-type your mailadres all the time. You would make my day with it :bravo:

We've been asking for that for a while - since the authentication system was changed to tie in with the e-shop it's not been possible for security reasons.

Best advice at the moment is to keep a window open - the forum will keep you logged in for several hours at time that way. But it's still a pain, we know. Sorry.

Also if you are typing a long post out always Copy it incase Preview or Submitting gives you the dreaded white screen of nothingness and pressing back or refresh results in you losing your post beforehand.

Of course not, I'm just sensible and do that everywhere. I've never typed out a multi-quoted message spanning about 10mins only to preview and get a whitescreen and then press back and it's all gone.
