Hello again. On Sunday most of us spent the evening using x-fire to type our unhappy comments about being connected to no-one, then someone, then some noob, then no-one, then everyone, then no-one again. So how's about a re-run?
Once again... we're not restricted to G class as this is a Classics Car Cruise. It can be a Countach, a Quatravolvalovvalovva (mmm... shaggy!) or a Wiesmann or anything that isn't ripped to the teeth in electronic technology. Bring something that when you're in 'behind the wheel' mode you can hear the *clunk* when you change gears. :)
Starting point - Makapu point Lighthouse. SE corner of the map.
Route. Round the Coast we love the most
Destination. South West Lighthouse
Rules...
Speed Limit = 150mph but this isn't set in stone, depending on any slower cars being chosen.
Overtaking allowed
Drift like you just can't stop
Burn rubber at red lights
Set a gps or don't as that's your choice. I won't as I hate the "PLEASE TURN AROUND" girly voice. I'll just wing it and the point of the cruise as always... HAVE FUN!

Same line-up as before but if you can't make it - let me know so I can make amendments. If most people can't make Wednesday or it's too short notice then say so. We'll debate whether Thursday is better. thanks! :)

Wiesmann = classic? Ha that's a good joke. They may have a somewhat classic design, but other than that they are totally modern...the model is only 3-4 years old.

Hmm, so ur saying we can just as well take McLaren F1's then? >:D they ARE built in 1992.. not what im taking though, this thime its a Jag Xj220? forgot the name, you know, the one in gruop B xD
i wont be with the Challenger this time, great car, i love it, but this cruise i think i'll take a corvette, not sure yet if the C1 or the Stingrey :wink2:
btw, 1992 its not that classic ya know, we're talking about cars from the 60s-80s
I might be able to come, keep me on the list - Thursday I definitely wouldn't be able to come.

I can't make Wednesdays at 7:30. Wednesday is Tesco's night. Gotta shop, or there'll be a hungry doob. Someone else can spend the whole night trying to sync instead of me. Generous, huh?:o Enjoy. See you at the next cruise.

Aww, no Keatown or Doobrie. Sorry to hear you can't make it guys. I'm thinking of a Friday 8pm cruise at the moment for the end of this week. Can you make that one? Twisty mountain roads of both the hills are alive with the sound of Ascari and the Kelekole run. :)

8pm is perfect for me every day except Wednesday. Sounds like a good cruise. How about Nobles with the Ascari's? Both similarish in handling. 1 vs the other.

thats freaking me out, maybe fix your stupid server problem? why did i pay this game if i can only play offline anyway? i could download it and play offline, come on its 2 or 3 weeks already that we cant cruise normally :mad:

Yeah, 2 weeks in and server problems are still as apparent as ever.. xDDDDD
Seriously, i was connected to duke and dusty, ready to move out, BAM! "test drive servers not available" Sc**w you!!!!!!!!!!! :nuts: :nuts:

... And just as i complain at the forums, i manage to connect, as random as it gets, dont you think? xDD
I breiefly connected after 15 minutes and 43 attempts!
Then, 5 minutes later, lost connnection and after 1/2 hour of trying can't reconnect at all :(

And I'm still in game with some of the original starters. Think the servers are only letting about 50 people worldwide on together at the moment. Seems to be better after 10pm. Damn, Kylie looks fit. Oops, shouldn't watch TV when I'm driving.

Was a fun cruise...and here's something you don't see every day...a flying Maserati 3500 GT! That thing is insane at high speeds! Unstoppable and steering even just a little bit makes you weave all over the road...but since it's unstoppable you just keep on weaving, more violently with every swing untill you end against a tree in a big fireball mdr1

@Doobs, that wasn't the first start haha...Andrius, Duke and me had been at the start half an hour early but nobody else had connected to us, so 5 minutes after original start time we were just about to set off when the connection cut out hehe :p
