Only Problems

I tried the demo of Cold War and liked it. The only thing I disliked was that the multiplayer demo only worked with Hamachi. When I tried to connect via the Multiplayer Lobby or Via IP it said 'Timed Out'. :mad:
I thought it was only the demo so bought the full game. The problems are still there tough. I only buy a few game a year, and that must be MP games, I want to play this online but I can only play it with friends via Hamachi. :cry:
This is what gives people a reason to download illegaly. Why pay for games that are finished for 70%??!! :mefiant:
I hope there will be a patch soon, or that someone can help me with this problem. :hin:

Btw. Did you also notice that all games have a ping of 999?!! eekblue:

Sounds like you have some sort of problem with your connection. Your router perhaps? Have you checked your port is forwarded?

I played a game today with 3 people all under 100 ping. Shame theres only ever about 5 people on at a time. :(

Tried it at some friends places, all give the same result. Still can't play online, still only playable with Hamachi. My friends also gave the same result. Kenjara is it maybe that you live closer to any Panzers gameserver than me?

Yes, my ports are open. The same ports are open as in Panzers Phase One. But why this complicated bullshit...all these complicated settings are the reason for so few players online... rolleyesa

What are your system reqiurements? With my E6550 and 9600GT has average 20 FPS, my college E8400 and HD4850 combo has 25. Uh.

Multiplayer is often lag. If it not crash... The replay is not work, too. So, it is expensive game, it is useless. :cry:

Paying 40 dollars to have a game very very similar (too much similar) to the previous edition and that does not work properly ( multiplayer ...) is a SHAME... there must be soon a patch to play online and to add new army... or nobody will trust again the creators of this game...

The creators of the game are long gone. Stormregion disbanded last year when their parent company filled for bankrupcy. The game was picked up by some obscure and unknown company that continued the development. The new company (Inno Glow), doesn't seem to managed to clean out the game bugs and chances are that you will never see that happen. Don't blame the original devs, as they never had a chance to polish their product the quality level that we've seen in the first two Codename Panzers and in Rush for Berlin/Rush for the Bomb. If you are new to the serie and there are some things that you like in Cold War, I recommend you to buy the previous titles. There is a special bundle with the first two Codename Panzers , priced very low. And there is Rush for Berlin Gold Edition that includes the Rush for the Bomb expansion, also priced very cheap. Seeing those games, you might understand the frustration of the veteran players of the series.
