View Full Version : HOw to put out pictures on this forum?
i have seen many people giving out there pictures but.. i dont under stand this system that well.. what do they mean whit at i have to give them the adress to the picture?.. huh?
go to photobucket or imageshack or a similar website, then upload your photos there (you'll have to create an account). When that's done, you need to copy and paste the IMG code (underneath the image) onto the forum. It will look like a code, but when you press save it will become a picture, like magic!:wink2:

At photobucket your uploaded picture page will look like this (below.)
To copy the IMG code... Roll your mouse over the picture you want to upload. A little text box will pop up below the picture. Right click on the option you want to use and choose copy, just like I've shown below. Then paste (right click the mouse for the option or hold down the Ctrl key and then press the V key. Doing it either way will paste the copied text. It will look like this : -

I have changed the type of bracket so that it doesn't upload a picture here. The correct brackets are [ ]. I hope this helps. :respect:

:) One thing you should know... When uploading picture files it would be best to choose the option to re-size any image to 800x600. The forum moderators don't like huge picture files being uploaded, so keep them to a respectable size and you won't be told off. :)
This is how to select the automatic re-size option : -

btw - if your picture files are in widescreen then they will stay in the same format. But photobucket's re-sizing option isn't the best quality. I re-sized from 1920x1080 to 800x600'ish and the picture became rather blurry, compared to when I did it myself with PhotoImpact.
