I just recently bought the game for 5 pounds because I heard the game is really horrible to play and I'm not really sure if it was worth it.
The game's controls are horrible ... I like playing in 1st person and after every few steps the game just throws me back in 3rd person view which is really horible. In 3rd person I need like half a minute to ignite a wooden chair, because controls are sooooo horible and walking is almost imposible... So I'm pressing TAB every half a minute... Lucky me, I don't have to blink anymore with X after a few couple of minutes into gameplay.
I've just finished the first part of the game and after the first save I'm allready tired of it ... and I got a freaking bluescreen, because my graphic card crashed !?!
And where the hell is 3:4 screen support???? I mean, COME OOOOOOOOOOON GUYS!!! There's no point in half the screen being black.
So when are you going to release a patch?????? It's allready like a year from the release and the game is still unplayable.
I'll start to watch out not to buy any ATARI game any more, because I'm having problems with the only two games I own ... I can't even install the Fahrenheit on my Viasta machine, and AITD is unplayable. I really like the music though, so I should probably go with Soundtrack instead of game with you guys........
PS: I really hate this, because the game with huuuuuuge potential is just screwed up ... And you really expected to get good reviews after launch? For the game that IS NOT finished even a year AFTER the release???? So they should give you straight 10s for a game that you start to hate after 5 minutes? ... I know I'd like it if it was as it should be, because the setting and effects are really nice and all but you are getting nowhere without sensible controls. :noooo:
Are you planning to give refunds to all the guys that payed full price for the game, because it's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo not worth it... It should sell for 5 pounds from the very beginning.
