Try Going into game options and turn blood on.

Same problem for me - Decals and Gore is on but totally there is no blood in Butcher's Bay remake.
Where is exactly that blood option?

Hmm, so I readed US Atari forums and Starbreeze forums. All suggestions to fix this error is totally not working. "Read only" tag on envirement.cfg is removed as soon as I launch the game. In "_profile" blood is set by 1.0000 by default and changing Decals to "On" during the game not fixes anything.
I'll stop play Riddick till there will be a patch for this. Playing a Riddick without blood is like playing racing game there wheels are not rendered.

I was refering to the gore option, this works fine in butcher bay/dark athena for me I can see the blood. I just have the odd cataclysmic system failure with this game.
