activation error

I have just got the game, installed it, input my serial number and transmit my information to the server in order to get a activationcode. but i get the message "communication error server, the extern host has broken the connection.

Can please somebody help me, i have a legal game dvd.

This error is most often caused by installing a bad copy of the game or CD key before trying a legitimate one - have you had any problems activating any previous install of the game and if so, what was the original error message?

I have´nt had any problems instaling any other games.
what could be done? buying a new legitimate one?
