Got the game yesterday and played the single player for a while and all was fine.

There is a problem with the Multiplayer mode however. I can find a Quick Game to join, select my player and weapon. After everyone has signalled OK the game starts to load, the Ghostbusters music plays and then I set one of the black system message screens pop up with the option to press X to continue or O to go back but there is no question or prompt and the console locks up at that point. I have to switch the unit off and on.

Happens every time I try to use Multiplayer.

Anyone else had this? Are the developers aware of this?

Im in the UK if that makes any difference.

Thanks.

I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one, although it isn't good news for you!

I have now emailed Atari customer service asking if they will address the problem. If not then I will returnthe game.

I have now found a couple of other problems with the game.

Game crash/freeze/slowdown during the Library section. Just after you travel down some stairs to a room where book cases move around the frame rate drops to less than 1fps. You can move around ( you can hear the sound of you walking ) and the screen updates every now and then. After a while the game returns to normal. The first time I attempted this section I left my character stood at the bottom of the stairs and the game froze and I had to reset the console, the second time I kept him moving and although the frame rate dropped it eventually picked up again.
Once when I loaded the game up and went to resume my career mode that option wasn't available, only to start a new career. I thought my progress had been lost and quit to check the game saves. They were still there so I reloaded and this time they were detected. The only thing that was different was that during the first load there was an MP3 download going on in the background from the Radio 1 website. Maybe that was the cause?
