I just bought the game today and installed it. When trying to launch the game i get the error message "please insert original DVD of "the witcher enhanced"!
So i did some research and a lot of people say its nero 7 or other apps running in the background causing the issue. Other people say its to do with your DVD writer. I have a fresh install of Windows 7 RC 64bit. I tried running the game using the emulator feature under vista sp2 and xp sp3, same error each time. So i updated the firmware on my DVD writer which is a LG GH22LP20, but still it fails to launch the game. I haven't encountered this problem before, but i'm starting to think there has been a batch of witcher DVD's released that are faulty, as the guy at the shop said something like " you can't return this game if it doesn't work cause it has no serial" sounded like a fob to me, maybe because there has been a lot of problems with launching this game. Is there any way to fix this issue?
