Invalid Serial Number

I have just purchased this game and when installing it, it then came up and said "Invalid Serial Number" and switched me out. The game is fully legal being purchased from Game in Norwich.
Can anyone advise please.

Right, first things are to double check things like zeros and the letter 'o'. V and U are also quite easy to confuse. If you've tried all combinations of likely alternative letters then take it back to the shop and ask for a different serial.
