It's only a TV. : :biggringr

Anyways are you looking at fairly large TVs or small ones? Flat panel or normal?

32ZP48P is a 32" CRT. (36" version is to big for the room )

If I'm going to get one HD-Ready then I'm looking at a Plasma or LCD.

The 32ZP48P is about £650 which is nice and cheap. Plasma or LCD ur talking what £1500 +

ssj4_VeGeTa2004, I'd appreciate if you could remove that chip you have on your shoulder. Is it possible that I can't make a remark without having you getting all jumpy and touchy? This is getting seriously annoying.

I apologize if I seem to be like that, sometimes I take your remarks too seriously and I don't realise it, I'll stop.

I dont want to start an argument but I thought ssj4_VeGeTa2004 had a valid point. I don't want to pick a fight with a Moderator here, but if anyone had a chip on thier shoulder it was you Tenebra.

What the hell is going on in this place?

I think you are joking, to be blunt. I haven't even mentioned ssj4_VeGeTa2004. It was a general advance warning , as I've maybe been here for long enough to sort of predict where a thread is gonna go.
I see, so I'm the only one here who sees this place turning into spamland. Strange it should come from you, Cranium, who's the first to complain all the time for the useless posts.
Since now I'm not even allowed to do my job without having people jumping all over the place like chickens, I'll shut up and let you all enjoy the spam.

Where's my chip, Cranium? That'd be very interesting to know. I appreciate constructive criticism, but that to me seems plain random.

I just like a Old-Fasioned "Fat" One with a big screen. :D

I understand your comment was not directed at ssj4_VeGeTa2004, and yes. I am the first to complain for pointless posts, but come off it Tenebra, the posts before your initial comment were just asking details. I don't see this as spam.

Spam on forums seems to be posts containing one or two words, repeat threads and pointless threads - as you are well aware.
I was merely sticking up for these guys (for a change) because I didn't see thier posts as spam and thought your post to be jumping the gun.

This place is supposed to be an online community, it just seems to me that all people bother to do on here is biccer and argue (including myself). You do a good job, I couldnt be botherd to trawl through all the pointless threads and spam on here. I'd say the moderators generally do a good job, I complained because I really did not understand where the "spam" in this thread was coming from.

I hate spam as much as anyone else... and please I really don't want this situation to escalate, but this is just getting silly.

I think that if there is someone jumping for nothing, that's some of you. You're making a hell of a big deal from a very gentle, inoffensive remark:

That's hardly having a go, isn't it? Personally, when I ask for advice on a piece of equipment, I'd like to receive a direct answer, such as "I've had this brand/model and I'm happy with it", "Don't bother with xxx, because of xxx".

Now, since I'm not into character assassination as a hobby, if I see something that is not quite spam but very close to it, I prefer making a general comment to prevent a wave of spamming posts. Are you surprised that I'd rather give a heads up instead of waiting for a mess the mods have to clean up?

Who's escalating? To me it'd been all finished with my gentle warning. Somebody's clearly having a bad day and that's not me.
