Post The annoying thing about not knowing when the DLC is out is...

don't worry, I'm not asking when it's out because I know you either don't know or can't tell us anyway. I'm just saying, the annoyng thing is that I don't know if I should spend my marketplace points on something else that I want because I don't know if I'll be able to top them up right away when the DLC does actually come out, which is no good because I want it as soon as it's released.

Well that's exactly why they take the time to release it, to make people time to buy other thing on the place, like for another driviing game that was just released...

And it's actually annoying for ATARI because i think they would be glad to sell as soon as possible and as much as possible the different DLC
Go Go

But it s only my opinion

I kinda get the feeling its not atari holding it up. Everything seems to point to Microsoft being a corporation and burying stuff in procedure.

That's what Tenebra has been trying to tell us.

I can't see the patch being a high priority to M$ as it doesn't make money.

I think (if it is today) it'll hit late tonight seeing the 15th for the USA starts about now and the wrking day ends about 11pm tonight.

Humm i dont wanna seem rude here but what planet are you from? Ofc Patches make money, just not direct money. Think about it, without any patches there would be no games for DLC to be released as no one would play them. If patches are delayed delayed delayed for ever people will stop playing the game and the DLC wont make as much money. And yes this patch and DLC has been due for a long time, but i know of alot more games than i can count on two hands that had has less support less feedback and taken longer than this has.

The DLC makes Atari money and M$ money (they probably get a percentage as commission). The option of DLC attracts gamers to a game but most people don't check to see if a game needs patching before buying.

You obviously don't work in a commercial environment.

Choice 1 - Put out the product (for free) that'll make you customers happy

or

Choice 2 - Put out the product that will bring in cash (not necessarily TDU as lots of other content / demos have gone on lately)

Which do you think would be the sound corporate decision?
