Is there any news on when new cars will be arriving for us PC users??

No official information has been published .... although atm the cars are in the testing phase.

Cool hopefully theyll be out soon cause i really want that challenger like in the 360 versoin.

not all the cars on the 360 version are going to be relased for pc version at the same time, i bet they will be delayed like the xbox 360 versions.

Actually the testing is over, and I was expecting them to be available today(friday) since they released another car-pack for the friggin' krapbox...

I know, wishful thinking..Well, maybe next week

I would of liked the same. But, the Xbox Users have also been told when the packs are going to be released and what will be in them. The packs haven't just been released without a say.

Still, it shouldn't be long before we get some confirmation.

what the **** are you talking about, the cars are already finished otherwise they would not be on the XBOX..

and that there are testing in the online version.. they could be testing in offline version thats just te same.. this is just testing in online to get famous.

i think they are complete losers..

If there were any car packs on the horizon then there would have been an official anouncement like in the Xbox360 forums

@BJ: Well for me (and lot's of others) the tested-all-over-the-place-fillercars tell everything, they are on the horizon (for some lucky people also just 10 feet away from them).

We already know they are being tested cuz people keep seeing the fillercars with addoncars-rims driving around so Atari doesn't have to confirm the arrival, only details and releasedates.

And if they would FIRST announce, THEN test, this would be even worse cuz Atari would keep us waiting (again) even more on any carpacks info nvm the packs themself.

i think its very sad that pc users get only 2 extra cars (skyline and rs4)...

this damn xbox users get their 5th downloadpack with a lot of really nice cars and we only have this damn 2 new cars, so what the hell Atari????

i'm badly disappointed

The xbox cars didn't appear all at once. And they had to pay for hardcore mode.

I have stopped thinking about the car pack. I'll check the forums every now and then, and if nothings there, well, it's not like I'll die or anything.

What has GT4 got to do with this? It's not even out on pc... +Totally different kind of a racing game. As in, driving laps vs. driving an island.

Hes saying that Atari will notify us in advance (normally about 2-3 weeks if the 360 DLC packs are anything to go by) when DLC packs will be avaliable and when

sure Test Drive got a really big island... but I think GT4 is one of the best alternative games to Test Drive...

and when Test Drive will not get more cars (no test drive got more cars but only on xbox) I would take gt4... but i hope the new cars will come...

IMHO, there are no differences at all between laps and island driving. Because in both cases car models doesn't linked to environment. What really matters are models itself and physics. Models are ready (I don't think that PC model is more complex than XBOX), physics is too (I don't think that XBOX cars behave different than PC). So I don't know what is going on here.
Game is out almost half an year. And all we get is "half-patch".

What you wanna say with that? Please explain, cuz I can only think these 2 up as explenation:

1. you don't know that cars on xbox get released in packs of 6
2. it's a hint we won't ever see them coming

And I agree with Kami. First, I was on the side of 'Be patient', now things are changing. The patch didn't do that much, and it shouldn't be that hard to make cars for a game. Xbox cars also were made on pc, so what's the big deal of keeping us wait this long.

Well I'm not talking about the physics, I meant the overall experience. As in driving around a circuit that you learn pretty quickly (And gets boring faster,IMHO), versus cruising "aimlessly" around a big island with "civilians" that takes forever to be really learned so well that you remember every road.

I'm starting to lose faith a bit too, it is extremely frustrating the new cars havent been launched..
